GINGER CIDER ELIXIR

 

This drink on an empty stomach protects our glucose levels while the lemon complements the elixir with a side of immunity. Feel free to add more ginger to give it an extra kick.

 

Ingredients:

  • 1 (1¼-inch, or 3-centimeter) piece of ginger, peeled & grated
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • Ice cubes
  • A dash of floral salt
  • Water or soda water, to top up
  • Juice of 1 lime

 

Method:

Add ice cubes to a glass.
Mix the apple cider vinegar, grated ginger & lemon and pour.
Top up with water or sparkling water & a dash of salt.
